First SaXcell garments presented
On October the 27th, the first garments made of 100% recycled cotton waste were presented at the convention “Groen Is De Rode Draad” in Utrecht, the Netherlands. Former politician Jolande Sap wore a dress made of SaXcell, a cellulose-like fiber developed by the Dutch university Saxion.
Not only Jolande’s dress but also trousers and another dress were shown to the public. The garments were designed and made by the Dutch sustainable fashion brand Humanoid.
