New recycling technology SynthiCycle

The aim of this project is to develop and test technology that can remove elastane from nylon and polyester and thus make it easier to recycle the textiles into new products and meet future EU requirements for more recycling of textile waste.

The project will focus on a mechanical and thermal sorting and treatment process, which the partners expect to be able to test on a pilot scale already during the project period.

Boer Group is partner of the project will be responsible for sorting the textile waste so that the requirements on the flow of textiles with elastane is achieved.
